In
my younger days I was involved in a
motorcycle accident. It left me with
various injuries some of which resulted
in arthritis of the back and hips. There
were even a couple of years (about a
decade after the accident) when the
pain was so crippling during the winter
months that I was forced to use a cane.
Through message, stretching and exercise,
a new mattress, and z-coil shoes, it’s
been years since I’ve used my
cane and the past few winters have been
relatively pain free.
